AI Product & Strategy Leader
PhD Economics & Data Science
I build the bridges between scientific rigour and real-world AI — turning complex problems into working products, and cross-functional teams into high-performing communities.
I am a PhD-trained AI leader who has spent the past six years at the intersection of data science, product strategy, and people-first management — at one of Europe's largest insurance groups.
My path is unusual: a doctorate in economics and machine learning, followed by strategic project management, and then building an enterprise AI team from scratch — scaling it to 25+ people before taking on tribe-level leadership across 100+ roles in data and analytics. Today I sit at the intersection of strategy, technology, and people as Deputy Tribe Lead at Allianz.
What drives me is the moment a complex problem clicks into a clear plan. I am equally comfortable presenting AI portfolio strategy to C-level executives, negotiating enterprise contracts with platform providers, and sitting down with engineers to think through architecture. That range is my edge.
A PhD is not an ivory-tower credential — it is a way of thinking. I bring rigorous frameworks to messy real-world problems, and I know when to apply them and when to simply move fast.
The best AI teams are not managed — they are cultivated. My job is to remove obstacles, create clarity, and give talented people the space to do their best work.
Beautiful models that never reach production are expensive experiments. I obsess over the full journey — from idea to deployment to adoption — and measure success in users, not prototypes.
I co-host a podcast on artificial intelligence — breaking down complex topics, sharing practical insights, and making AI accessible to both enthusiasts and professionals.
